This independent service replaces a commercial vehicle's routine
inspection. It allows the client and Fleet Technique to assess the
quality of workmanship from service providers, the vehicle condition,
driver issues and any other client requirements.
The inspections provide proof of a competent and responsible attitude
towards vehicle maintenance to interested parties such as the DOE.
These inspections allow us to tackle any areas of concern, closing
the gap between client/driver and service provider.
Allied closely with the Commercial Vehicle Inspection product, Fleet
Technique can audit any number of items including:
Vehicle service and inspection
scheduling
Driver records and defect reporting
Tachograph calibration
Tail Lift Validation
Any other checks specific to
the client or their operation
We can also offer professional advice to help in the efficient running
of your transport operation.
Fleet Technique can provide a detailed report on the general condition
of any vehicle in your fleet.
Clients find this facility particularly useful where vehicles operate
away from a central base and are not routinely inspected.
This totally independent form of inspection can assist in confirming
a large repair estimate or enable it to be challenged from a professional
standpoint. In the case of accident repairs, which may become the
subject of any future third party claims, it lends significant weight
to after-the-fact repair invoices.
As you would expect from Fleet Technique, all services are charged
at a realistic cost, well below those offered by other professional
bodies.
